How it works.

Four steps from the process you name to a finished product. The first one is done before we meet, and it costs nothing.

01

You name the idea or a process to automate

Whatever you want built or automated. You tell us; we scope the build around it.

One process, one app, one quote. If the job is bigger than that, we say so before anything starts.

Custom application

An app for a process you still run by hand — scheduling, hours, quotes, stock — or a replacement for a system you are stuck with and do not like. Built around your rules, not a template.

Website

A landing page that gets the business found, a personal portfolio, a booking or quote-request page, a customer portal, or an external web application such as a CRM or an order tracker.

Audit, improvement & polish

Audit

We check what you already run for GDPR and regulatory compliance, so no fine is waiting, how machine-generated it looks, and whether the technical build meets corporate-grade standards.

Improvement

We then build the changes you ask for, quoted per change before any work starts.

Polish

We close the loose ends: compliance gaps, speed, and the details that make it read as a finished product.

Fits your business, or have another idea?
Tell us about it.

02

You get a prototype first

A working app you can click through in the first meeting. Not a presentation. It is free.

We build the first version from our understanding of your process and populate it with synthetic data — job names, team names, the fields you actually use — so the screens read like your own.

You click through it in the meeting and tell us what to change. We adjust it around your feedback until the screens match how the job is really done — and the prototype itself costs you nothing.

03

You tell us what to change

Your rules and your wording. The software is built around how you already work.

Who sees what

Crew see their own jobs; the office sees everything.

A whole new screen

A reports view that was not in the prototype, added as its own screen.

Exports that fit

Payroll gets the file in the shape it already uses.

Steps that run themselves

The invoice drafts itself when a job is signed off.

All of it is yours to set, and changes come back in days, not sprints. We keep going until the app matches how the job is really done.

04

We go live, and we run it

Live in two to four weeks, on a URL we host. One invoice, the price we agreed.

I have my own server!

On our server

You pay us for hosting, and for maintenance only if you want it. Additions are quoted per change — never a standing monthly fee.

On your server

Nothing to pay us for hosting. Maintenance is optional, quoted on its own, and you can stop it at any time.

12-month guarantee

Any fix we provide is covered for twelve months. If it goes wrong inside that year, we put it right.

Industry-level testing

The build is tested to the same standards used in large-scale production before it goes anywhere near your business.

After it is live

You work in the app. We keep the lights on. The product is a URL you open from the office or the van. Additions — another screen, another rule — are scoped and quoted as a change. If something in the original process was in the quote and is wrong, that is The Foreland’s problem, not a new invoice for our time.

Tell us what needs to be done. We’ll send a prototype.

We’ll come back with a working app, on a URL we keep running.

Ask for a prototype contact@theforeland.com

Ask for a prototype

This is a request, not the prototype. We’ll build a working version of your process and show you.

That’s in. We’ll look at what you sent and reply with a prototype.
